TAG | Would you Rather?

Of all the Tags I've seen and read this one made me so uncomfortable. Giving me an ultimatum regarding makeup is like a dagger to my glitter covered heart. Nonetheless I was TAGGED to partake by a gorgeous friend of mine at WalkOverTheMountain and partake I did.

1.  Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses OR lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

That's a toughie but versatility wise I'd probably be able to lose the palettes and shadows. I feel like I can rock a red lip and plain eyes anyway. Nothing beats that 1940s vintage red lip. Liners and some lippies can be doubled as eyeshadows too depending on their colour and formula. 

2.  Would you rather chop off your hair OR never be able to cut it again?

I love my hair. However if I was never able to cut it again that would cause one hell of a heavy load as my hair reaches the bottom of my back almost anyway. It does not stipulate you couldn't grow your hair out once you cut it or tell you you need to keep it cut. So I'd chop it. Grow it back. 

3.  Would you rather have a coral OR a pink cheek?

Pink. On an everyday basis I think it's more of a universally flattering shade. Coral is nice for occasions. 

4.  If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes OR makeup?

Honestly with a thousand dollars it could stretch far or very little. I would probably spend it on makeup and make a list of very good products. Products that are not only worth every cent but are an investment. I'd probably spend this on some palettes or brushes. They tend to last the longest. 

5.  Would you rather apply lipsticks as eyeliner OR eyeliner as lipstick?

Lipstick as eyeliner wouldn't last. Perhaps the cream matte formulas but not sure how they'd last. I'd use liner as lipstick. It's quite drying but a little bit more lasting. 

6.  Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

Here in OZ we only have MAC so right now MAC. If we had Sephora however I'd probably shop there as there are more brands. 

7.  Would you rather only use one eye shadow color OR one lip color for the rest of your life?

Jesus. Shoot me. Hnnnnnng. Give me the lipstick.

8.  Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer OR summer clothes in winter?

What the hell kind of question is this? Hypothermia or Overheating? I'd rather Hypothermia frankly. Less sweaty.

9.  Would you rather have a dark nails OR bright nails all year round? 

I like Vamperic colours generally so dark nails please.

10.  Would you rather give up your favorite lip product OR your favorite eye product?

Probably eye product. I have rather asian features, particularly in the eyes so they're not prone to early ageing but my lips are prone to uber dryness. Don't deprive me of my balm! 

11.  Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail OR a messy bun? 

I have extremely long hair so probably a ponytail because being the length it is it doubles as a style too.

12.  Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?  

Never use lipgloss. I actually only own two. And they're both minis from Benefit. Gloss is for editorial shoots and teenagers. It's not practical lip wear I don't think. 

13.  Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all OR sharpie them in everyday?

Sharpie them. I know that sounds awful but depending on your control of the sharpie you can style your brows into quite a 40's soft thin brow. I can live with that. 

14.  Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

I'd rather live without nail polish. Easy peasy.
