It's been quite a long time since I've donned Besame's lipstick in Noir Red. I'm not a giant fan of satin lipsticks. I prefer matte finishes or stains for the lasting power they have but you can't deny this is a beautiful vintage colour inspired by The Great Gatsby era. A fun fact to know is Besame synthetically re-create colours from carefully selected vintage lipsticks! Their shade Red Hot Red is a re-creation of one of Marilyn Monroes lipsticks. That's pretty amazing.
