I will go ahead and admit I am totally a 'Spur of the Moment' baker and tend to go all out only when the mood seems to strike me. We keep buying Bananas in my house but they're not being eaten quick enough, resulting in them beginning to turn bad so I thought why not put these browning babies to good use and began browsing the many recipes already out there on the interwebs. I assembled this mashup using ingredients that appealed to me but still following a basic framework and small ingredients are completely subject to change or substitution if your heart so desires!
There is absolutely no particular order in which you have to do this, this isn't 'Banana Bread: The Simulator'. It wont all go the hell in a hand basket if you add Cinnamon before Vanilla Essence. I mostly just add all of the dry ingredients first and then concoct the wet ingredients in a separate bowl and combine the two before transferring the batter to the bread mould. It really is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
You will need to pre-heat your oven at around 180 degrees and it can take around an hour to an hour and a half to cook.
