First Ever | Kosmea Day Spa Facial

If I had the money I'd be all about pampering but most days the only thing my wallet homes is cobwebs so I was pee my pants excited Kosmea's newly established Adelaide day spa offered me and some lovely blogger ladies a complimentary 60 minute facial.

From my knowledge Kosmea is most recognizable for their best selling product RoseHip Oil. I've been digging the facial oils this year. I love the hydration they provide  and the essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants packed into each little bottle. What struck me about Kosmea's RoseHip oil was not only that it hydrates it helps even out complexion, helps combat acne and aids in repairing the skin.

The day spa is located just outside the city in a townhouse storefront with a chic white walls.
I was offered coffee once I was seated; I don't care who you are, offer me free coffee and I'm all yours!
I was asked to fill out a standard form listing ailments or problems (At least I assumed it was standard, RIGHT?) afterwards when left to my own device I snooped through everything, the magazines  products and immediately gravitated towards the nail polishes. I've actually never heard of these but they looked beautiful and upon later research have learnt Zoya are quite popular. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with polish lately seeing as I really badly suck at applying it. It's a love hate relationship.

Kosmea's lovely Amy escorted me into a cosy little room with a chair I would have loved to tuck into my purse but I feared it may look a little obvious (I'm on the hunt for the perfect wingback office chair) and was left on my own to undress and wrap myself into a dayspa towel. Mortified to say the least, who here has body confidence issues raise your hand? Nonetheless I maintained (I hope) my dignity and tucked myself into the little towel dress and hoped to god anything embarrassing stayed tucked under the towel.
Although in hindsight I really had no need to worry, Amy regaled me with a tail of some poor soul who mistook the towel dress for a cape and wore it that way for their appointment.

I got cleansed, cleaned, exfoliated, brushed & buffed  moisturized  face-masked, steamed and massaged all while swapping pet stories with Amy the entire time. I will admit before hand I was worried about awkward silences but the ladies at Kosmea were professionally sociable which kept me at ease through the entire appointment. It was announced I had dry and scarred skin (Yay) and I was treated to a special two part face mask, one to draw out impurities and one purely for moisturizing. I fell in love with the RoseHip oil. Amy explained everything as she was doing it and was surprised how quickly in soaked into the skin and kept my skin moisturized for over 5hrs afterwards. During my exfoliation a microdermabrasion brush was used further convincing me to put the clarisonic on my wish list.

My skin felt wonderful afterwards and I picked myself up a RoseHip oil on my way out and received 3 free samples. SCORE! Love me some samples. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I want to go back but it wont be for awhile. I need a car first, While being in Adelaide the spa isn't all that close to me. Head over to Kosmea's Site to book an appointment or to check out the merch. A must see in my books!
